U3A geology group

As the weather for field excursions is often poor over the winter months, a series of 2 hour indoor geology tutorial sessions is planned. The National Trust Visitor Centre in Glen Coe has kindly offered the U3A Geology Group the use of their Exhibition Room for the sessions. There is no charge for the meetings other than U3A membership and the cost of catering for morning coffee and lunch in the Centre Café.

Meet in the café at 10.00, sessions run from 10.30 to 12.30. Participants are encouraged to come with their geological questions and hand specimens for identification, etc.
