Lochaber U3A Geology Group Winter Lecture Program 2011/12

“The Ballachulish Granite and its Metamorphic Aureole”

Meet at 10.00am in the café for coffee then start with a short lecture at 10.30am in the Exhibition Room. A practical workshop, mainly of hand specimen identification and interpretation, will follow, with participants encouraged to bring their own specimens and questions. We will close at about 12.30pm. Lunch will be available in the café afterwards. There is no charge for the lecture, the use of the Exhibition Room is free courtesy of the NTS Glen Coe, but participants will have to pay for whatever refreshments they take at the café.
